The SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Jazz Orchestra is a group of talented musicians chosen from schools around the Bay Area. Each year, they are given performance and rehearsal opportunities with distinguished musicians and instructors. In addition, they have the opportunity to record an album of compositions rehearsed and performed throughout the year. Their 2010-2011 release contains nine compositions and includes a four panel cd sleeve that features custom illustrations and photography of the musicians. It received the GDUSA American InHouse Design Award in Packaging.
