I am interested in exploring how mechanisms are used to fit a garment to the body as well as how they can be adjusted to accommodate different variables of the body, such as height. Four vertical drawstrings are integrated into the dress. When pulled, the length and shape of the dress change. This project led me to the question: does the body fit the garment or does the garment fit the body?
