This piece was developed in response to my garments that are more representational of the body as I wanted the garment to expose more layers of the body’s exteriors. Similar to “Contours”, “Cage” follows the form of the body with a linear material, but in a more sculptural manner. I am also interested in discovering the ways that non-conventional materials affect the form and structure of a garment and how they lay on the body.
